Bjoern Rabenstein	f1de5b0c4e	Run checkpointing of in-memory metrics and head chunks periodically. ... Checkpointing interval is now a command line flag. Along the way, several things were refactored. - Restructure the way the storage is started and stopped.. - Number of series in checkpoint is now a uint64, not a varint.
