## Summary
Postgres columns can be
- [generated as
identity](https://www.postgresqltutorial.com/postgresql-tutorial/postgresql-identity-column/ )
- [generated by a custom
expression](https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/ddl-generated-columns.html )
In these 2 cases, the column is not required when inserting a new row.
This PR makes sure these types of column are not marked required in n8n.
### How to test
1. Create a Postgres table with all types of generated columns:
for version >= 10
```sql
CREATE TABLE "public"."test_table" (
"id" int8 NOT NULL DEFAULT nextval('test_table_id_seq'::regclass),
"identity_id" bigint GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY,
"id_plus" numeric GENERATED ALWAYS AS (id + 5) STORED,
"title" varchar NOT NULL,
"created_at" timestamp DEFAULT now(),
PRIMARY KEY ("id")
)
```
Before 10 you have to use serial or bigserial types:
```sql
CREATE TABLE distributors (
did serial not null primary key,
name varchar(40) NOT NULL CHECK (name <> '')
);
```
2. Add a postgres node to canvas and try to insert data without the
generated columns
3. Should successfully insert

feat(core): Remove discontinued crypto-js ( #8104 )

Since crypto-js was
[discontinued](1da3dabf93https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/pull/7556 ).
However I decided back then to not remove crypto-js just yet in
expressions, as I wanted to use `SubtleCrypto`. Unfortunately for that
to work, we'd need to make expressions async.
So, to get rid of `crypto-js`, I propose this interim solution.

We added ID-less workflow reporting at #8031 , which has already produced
multiple reports coming from internal, enough info to tackle [this
story](https://linear.app/n8n/issue/PAY-1147 ). To prevent an
overwhelming number of reports from cloud, this PR removes the reporting
for now.

## Summary
Restore workflow ID during execution creation removed by [this
PR](https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/pull/8002/files#diff-c8cbb62ca9ab2ae45e5f565cd8c63fff6475809a6241ea0b90acc575615224af ).
The missing workflow ID, and more generally the fact that `workflow.id`
is optional when it should not be, causes `PermissionChecker.check` to
misreport a credential as inaccessible when it should be accessible.
More generally, start reporting ID-less workflows so we can root them
out and prevent this at type level.

feat(editor): Adds a EE view to show worker details and job status ( #7600 )
...
This change expands on the command channel communication introduced
lately between the main instance(s) and the workers. The frontend gets a
new menu entry "Workers" which will, when opened, trigger a regular call
to getStatus from the workers. The workers then respond via their
response channel to the backend, which then pushes the status to the
frontend.
This introduces the use of ChartJS for metrics.
This feature is still in MVP state and thus disabled by default for the
moment.

poller-based workflows, excluding webhook-based workflows.

fix(core): Reduce logging overhead for levels that do not output ( #7479 )

all current logging calls execute `callsites()` to figure out what code
tried to log. This happens even for logging methods that aren't supposed
to create any output. Under moderate load, this can take up quite a lot
of resources. This PR changes the logger to make all ignorable logging
methods a No-Op.
In a small benchmark with a simple webhook, with log-level set to
`warn`, and using `ab -c 50 -n 500
http://localhost:5678/webhook/testing `, these were the response times:

ci: Fix typescript incremental builds (no-changelog) ( #7275 )

`tsBuildInfoFile` is supposed to be relative to `tsconfig` like `outDir`
is.
Because of this, we are currently saving the TS incremental build cache
for all packages in the same file. This is likely causing issues where
the built backend code sometimes does not accurately map to the current
source code.
This PR changes the incremental build setup to keep the cache in
individual `dist` folders, like it used to be up until a 2 months ago,
before https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/pull/6816 .

This PR includes `workflowId` in binary data writes so that the S3
manager can support this filepath structure
`/workflows/{workflowId}/executions/{executionId}/binaryData/{binaryFilename}`
to easily delete binary data for workflows. Also all binary data service
and manager methods that take `workflowId` and `executionId` are made
consistent in arg order.
Note: `workflowId` is included in filesystem mode for compatibility with
the common interface, but `workflowId` will remain unused by filesystem
mode until we decide to restructure how this mode stores data.

This PR introduces banner framework overhaul:
First version of the banner framework was built to allow multiple
banners to be shown at the same time. Since that proven to be the case
we don't need and it turned out to be pretty messy keeping only one
banner visible in such setup, this PR reworks it so it renders only one
banner at a time, based on [this priority

that is assembled together with our product & design team.

feat(core): Add a warning to error workflows that cannot be started due to permission or settings ( #6961 )

Github issue / Community forum post (link here to close automatically):
This PR aims to address an issue where an Error workflow cannot be
started, either due to insufficient permissions or because its settings
prevent it from being called.
The way of addressing this is by creating a failed execution for the
appointed error workflow stating the error, as can be seen below.
This means the execution itself won't start, as it's prevented before
the execution beings, but we save a "stub" execution to show the error.

1. Consistent CORS support ~on all three webhook types~ waiting webhooks never supported CORS. I'll fix that in another PR
2. [Fixes binary-data handling when request body is text, json, or xml](https://linear.app/n8n/issue/NODE-505/webhook-binary-data-handling-fails-for-textplain-files ).
3. Reduced number of middleware that each request has to go through.
4. Removed the need to maintain webhook endpoints in the auth-exception list.
5. Skip all middlewares (apart from `compression`) on Webhook routes.
6. move `multipart/form-data` support out of individual nodes
7. upgrade `formidable`
8. fix the filenames on binary-data in webhooks nodes
9. add unit tests and integration tests for webhook request handling, and increase test coverage
